Opening in the chapel of the Museum of Arts and Crafts.

Satoshi SEKIMOTO won the “One of the Best Craftsmen in France” competition by creating a fully embroidered jacket on the theme of the Indian maharajas. This piece is the subject of an exhibition at the Museum of Arts and Crafts where it is presented to the public.

In this context, Best Craftsmen in France were invited to interact with visitors. These interventions, orchestrated by Didier RUIZ, were titled “MOF en scènes, des mots et des mains” (MOF in scenes, words, and hands). The MOF would start by showing his hands, then proceed with a speech, answer questions from the audience, and conclude once again by showing his hands. This staging around the hands is significant as it highlights manual labor and its impact on the body.
