“Scarabées sur la dune (Beetles on the Dune)” is part of the Microcosmos collection, where each insect becomes a symbolic figure. In this embroidered artwork, beetles appear as solar creatures, moving across the dune like a mythological procession.
Created by Satoshi Sekimoto, MOF in Haute Couture Embroidery and Master Artisan of Art, the piece combines the rigor of Lunéville hook embroidery with the delicacy of needlework.
