Description
“Trame de vie (Life’s Weave)” is an embroidered diptych, a landmark piece of the Pur collection. Composed of two panels, it unfolds through superposition and resonance of forms, where intersecting lines build an architectural and symbolic weave.
Presented as the main artwork at the Artisans d’Excellence fair, the piece explores the tension between order and chaos, transparency and density. Embroidered bands of luminous threads structure the space, recalling both modern frameworks and the invisible networks of life.
Created by Satoshi Sekimoto, MOF in Haute Couture Embroidery and Master Artisan of Art, the diptych combines Lunéville hook embroidery, needlework, and textile assemblage. It embodies the rare union of architectural rigor and poetic imagination, in a museum-scale dimension.
Composition: Lunéville hook and needle embroidery, glass beads, sequins, silk and cotton threads, on canvas.
