Inspired by the scarab — a universal symbol of rebirth and protection — the “Gold Scarab” brooch reinterprets an eternal motif through Haute Couture embroidery.
Each stitch is executed by Satoshi Sekimoto, MOF in Haute Couture Embroidery, who transforms sequins and beads into shimmering reflections. The insect becomes a jewel of art, a miniature worn as a contemporary talisman.
Deep black, golden highlights, and crystalline transparency engage in a play of light and texture. The use of both Lunéville hook and needle embroidery allows for extreme finesse, where every detail evokes the vitality and symbolic power of the scarab.
