“Gilda” is part of the Diva collection, which explores stage, opera, and cinema figures through the art of embroidery. Inspired by the legendary heroine portrayed by Rita Hayworth, this piece translates into textile the aura of seduction, drama, and mystery.
Created by Satoshi Sekimoto, MOF in Haute Couture Embroidery and Master Artisan of Art, the work combines the virtuosity of Lunéville hook embroidery with the precision of needlework. Beads, sequins, and silk threads capture light like a stage gown, with intensity both glamorous and sculptural.
