Satoshi SEKIMOTO was invited as the winner of the “One of the Best Craftsmen in France” competition to the Prefecture of Hauts-de-Seine in Nanterre. On-site, the fully embroidered jacket on the theme of the Indian maharajas was displayed on a small table. It was also accompanied by a scroll featuring a portrait of Satoshi, some photos of his work, and a quote from his presentation to the jury.
The prefect and the COET MOF management delivered a speech on French excellence. They then proceeded to award the Best Craftsmen of France diplomas to each laureate from Hauts-de-Seine. Satoshi was awarded in Haute Couture Embroidery.
For the final cocktail, the Best Craftsmen were able to engage with local officials and other guests.
